If you’re one that is all familiar with migraines you know how unbearable the pain can be. The tension in your head builds, any light and sounds become bothersome. With times being so difficult to push through all you can do is call it a day and sleep till you wake up and feel better. 

Ways to treat migraines vary by person as do the intensity of them. Botox, and various anti-seizure medications are all ways doctors have recommended help for migraines but also cannabis has been on the rise of recommendations for people of all ages. 

In a survey done by Canadian Journal of Neurological Science 34 percent of 200 Canadians that attended a headache clinic reported they use cannabis for prevention and treatment of headaches. 

60 percent said it did in fact reduce the severity of their headache while 30 percent said it prevented it altogether. 

While smoking/vaping will give you an instant effect in order to help there are other ways to consume cannabis such as through edibles or beverages, extracts and oils.
