Your Guide to Stoner Fall Activities in Toronto

September has ended, summer has come and passed, but don’t be sad.

There’s still plenty of cannabis-related fun to be had all over the city. Whether you like the calm of autumn foliage, or the terrifying excitement of a haunted house, there’s something fun for everyone. So, sweater up! Here are the top 5 fall activities for stoners in the Six.

Brick Works Farmers Market

Fall Activities in Toronto

Every Saturday morning, the Brick Works come to life. Fresh produce, pickles, baked goods, oh my! Foodies will be in heaven at this event. Stock up on crisp autumn apples and cider before the cold sets in. Wander the beautiful, solar-punk gardens of the Evergreen Brick Works. This is the perfect date for that quirky hipster girl; or that bearded granola guy; or that septum ring having non-binary person you’ve had your eye on. Hell, wake and bake, invite all three, and wander the stalls to your heart’s content.

Hike by the Humber River

Fall Activities in Toronto

Foliage, the rushing of water down falls, and clean fresh air: this is what awaits you at the end of the green subway line. Mere steps from Old Mill station is the picturesque Humber River. The paths that run beside the river always teem with activity as people from all over Toronto come to enjoy this scenic scene. Who knows, you might even see a salmon leaping up the falls, or a coyote padding along the shore. Find a likely bench, spark up, and breathe deep.

Casa Loma Haunted House

Fall Activities in Toronto

Boo! Did I scare you? No? Well… Our number five slot goes to the scariest, spookiest, downright ghastliest performance of the season. Legends of Horror is an immersive show that takes you around Casa Loma, and each room hosts a different terror for you to behold. The tour even goes into areas never before open to the public… but will you ever come out again? Running throughout all of October, this promises to be a frighteningly fun time, especially after a gummy or two.
