Come celebrate the Do West Festival here in Toronto! This year will mark the 10th annual edition. Starting June 9th to the 11th, Dundas Street will be closed down covering 16 West end Toronto blocks to celebrate in the heart of Little Portugal.

Covering all of Dundas Street West from Shaw Street to Lansdowne Avenue, check out over 100 vendors, grab some food, do some shopping and enjoy the music and festival. You are guaranteed to have a fun time. 

There will be tons of live performances, national and international acts on stages; Lula Music and Arts Centre and Transmit Presents. A parade to begin the day June 10th at 10am in honour of Portugal Day. With more parades to follow! This weekend will be filled with fun activities for people of all ages.

There will be a rhythmic theme of Brazilian, Latin, Caribbean and global roots genres playing throughout the festival at the Lulaworld stage. 

Opening and kicking off the festival is Danae Olano on the Lulaworld stage at 6pm June 9th. You can check out the full lineup of performances here.

There will be so many food vendors to try out so come with an appetite.

An all premium plant-based ice cream you will find unique blends such as blackberry slab pie, chocolate toffee matzo crunch, creme egg, cinnamon buns ice cream and so much more. With exclusive flavours for June come try bubble gum, tiger tail and neopolitan.

Liko’s Hawaiian Barbecue makes everyone feel like an ohana (family). Bringing the flavours of Hawaiian BBQ to us here in Toronto try delicious Kalua pork on a bun, Huli chicken skewers, ahi poke bowls and much more.

Piñata Tacos is another must see. This will be their first time to participate in the Do West Fest so be sure to grab some amazing authentic Mexican cuisine, enjoy the tacos and show them some love!

SlowSouth Pizza is an authentic Italian wood fired pizza place. Owned proudly by Italian couple Enrina and Giuseppe, their goal is to bring their idea of “SlowSouth” to the homes of others. With carefully prepared ingredients spent over 72 hours preparing and to the home of their Italian roots (South Tyrol, Italy) their pizza is sure to take you on a trip to Italy as you indulge.

A very cool vendor at the festival will be Grape Witches. They are a wine bar, patio, shop, event space and even a wine club! Founded in 2015 their goal is to help share the most flavourful of wines and help consumers find wines they truly enjoy. If you’re a wine lover and looking to try new things and enjoy great conversation with people with the same interest, be sure to stop by and say Hi.
