What to expect in the class

Warm welcome & setup (5–10 min). Find your seat, apron up, and skim the quick overview—your instructor will outline the designs we’ll decorate (a Santa set with 4 icings across 6 cookies, subject to change). (The Rabbit Lake Baking Company)

Hands-on basics (30–40 min). You’ll learn how to:

  • Mix and handle royal icing consistencies (outline vs. flood).

  • Pipe clean outlines and fill smoothly without craters.

  • Use simple tools (scribe/toothpick) to pop bubbles and drag details.

  • Festive finishes (20–30 min). Add accents—dots, stripes, simple eyes and smiles—plus quick drying tips so your cookies travel safely.

  • Take-home. You’ll leave with your decorated set in a box and the confidence to repeat the techniques at home

How to plan your visit

Arrive 10–15 minutes early. Parking is available on nearby streets; give yourself time to settle in and wash hands. Bring these small extras: a notebook for tips and your phone for progress pics.
