Present in black pepper, cloves and many other herbs and spices.
Limonene is known for its refreshing, citrusy aroma and flavour.
Myrcene is associated with a sweet, earthy, fruity, and musky aroma. Beyond cannabis, myrcene is found in mangoes, hops, thyme, lemongrass, and cloves. When myrcene is the dominant terpene, some report a calming sensation.
As you might guess from its name, pinene gives cannabis a fresh pine scent. Some people also pick up hints of rosemary. You can also find pinene in pine trees, rosemary, and sage.
