Recipe: Cannabis-Infused Loaded Nachos

Ingredients

For the Loaded Nachos:

  • 1 tbsp Cannabis oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp chipotle peppers (rehydrated or find in a jar in adobo sauce in the same aisle as taco seasonings)
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 large bag tortilla chips
  • 2 c. shredded cheddar

For the Infused Pico de Gallo:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Cannabis oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425ºF (220ºC), and line a baking sheet with foil

Step 2: In a pan over high heat, toss in the chopped onion and cook until translucent

Step 3: Add ground beef to pan and stir with onions. Cook thoroughly until meat is browned.

Step 4Stir in cannabis oil, minced garlic, chipotle peppers, cilantro, and season with salt to taste. Let it simmer on low until aromatic. and till the beef goes to the tasty side.

Step 5: Assemble nachos by spreading tortilla chips in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet then apply ground beef and cheese before heating in the oven until the cheese in melted and gooey.

Step 6: While your nachos are in the oven, chop onions, tomatoes, cilantro, then dress with lime juice, cannabis oil, salt and salt and pepper.

Step 7: Remove from oven and let nachos cool. Serve alongside infused pico de gallo and optional guacamole, sour cream, or ranch dressing.
