How long will it take to feel the effects of an infused drink?

The onset is different for everyone and is impacted by many factors including weight, gender and whether consumed on a full or empty stomach. Health Canada cites that it can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours to begin to feel the full effects of edibles and can last up to 12 hours. Residual effects can last up to 24 hours after use.

Because Sense & Purpose beverages use an emulsification process, cannabis is more rapidly absorbed into the blood stream and has a faster onset than edibles, approximately 15 to 30 minutes.

How is the cannabis infused into Sense & Purpose beverages?

Sense & Purpose uses a nanoemulsion to get cannabis extracts into their beverages. This process reduces the particle size of the cannabinoids so that they enter the blood stream faster and are suspended in an emulsion which makes them compatible with our beverage formulations.

Why do Sense & Purpose beverages contain both CBD and THC?

While cannabinoids can be extracted and distilled down to isolated cannabinoids, we wanted to provide a more rounded cannabis experience. We have developed the appropriate ratio between THC and CBD to deliver the intended effect.
