Top 5 Basketball Courts in Toronto

Nothing beats some down time just shooting hoops and a game of pick up basketball with the homies.

Here are five basketball courts in Toronto to check out this summer. Spark up a pre roll or hit your favourite vape and head on over to the court  and enjoy a game with friends.

Mornelle Court - Scarborough

Playground d'arte: Mornelle Court, Toronto - Never Ending Season

This is hands down the most gorgeous basketball court I have ever seen and the story behind it is just as sweet. Painted and chosen by locals to the community this design is honoring Toronto’s first professional basketball team the Toronto Huskies. Caught waiting to play? We got you! Puff on Potluck - Blueberry Vanilla disposable vape and enjoy the art of this court.

Trillium Park - Ontario Place

Toronto Basketball Court: Trillium Park – Courts of the World

If you’re looking to be impressed by a court this is the one. Opened in 2019 you will find three FIBA sized courts and two half courts. This is playing with a view. Located right by the lake and behind the Budweiser Stage. Perfect location to hear a concert if you missed out on getting tickets. The demographic playing on these courts are mainly adults however in this community everyone always feels so welcomed so never feel shy if you are wanting to join in on a game. Find yourself waiting here? Light up a Good Supply - Jean Guy Pre-Roll to ease your wait.

Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre

Harbourfront Basketball Court - 627 Queen's Quay West

Located near Queens Quay West and Bathurst this might just be one of the more popular spots for pick up basketball. With many well maintained hoops free to your availability to practice on. Feel free to step up to the main court and join in on a game. There is a strong basketball presence and vibe to the park so if you love basketball this is definitely a spot you will want to check out.

Toronto’s Underpass Park

The Underpass Park Basketball Courts @ City of Toronto

This basketball court is excellent and most convenient at all times being located below an underpass. Rain or shine you will be able to get a game of basketball in. Surrounded by unique graffiti to admire there is also a skate park and playground.

Cooper Koo

Cooper Koo YMCA on Cherry Street - blogTO - Toronto

If you are looking for somewhere to play indoors this spot is dope. Formerly it was used as the training facility for the Pan Am Games so you know everything is top tier shape. Now a YMCA, this indoor facility has a well-mainted court. Perfect for the days you still want to play but the heat is too much to bear. There are players of all ages here so skills will vary.

Remember to stay hydrated and stay safe out in the sun. Enjoy your Summer in Toronto!
