Float Toronto

Float Toronto is an alternative wellness center that was started in 2011. It is one of the largest float centers on Canada’s east coast.

It offers Floatation Therapy, REST Therapy (Restricted Environmental Stimulation Technique) or Sensory Deprivation. The procedure is a great way to relax the body and mind.

What is floating? Let us explain. The process involves lying in a salt-water solution in a specially designed tank. 850 pounds of Epsom salt prevents you from fighting gravity while you lay on your back. The water is kept at a skin receptor neutral temperature, which lets you lose track of where your body ends, and the water begins. Your ears remain just below the water, and the tank is insulated against sound. After closing the tank door, you will float in darkness.
