Toronto Home Games to Look Out For in April

Is there any better way to celebrate spring than watching some Toronto Home Games?

An exciting month of sports in the city came to a close when Canada's men's national football team defeated Honduras 4-1 in the Concacaf Nations League. Nonetheless, we have a lot to look forward to in terms of home games across the city, especially at the Scotiabank Arena & Rogers Center. In order to give their playoff hopes a boost, our two biggest teams in the city aim to finish their regular seasons in thrilling fashion.

The Leafs will host two of its storied rivals, the Detroit Red Wings on April 2 and the Montreal Canadiens on April 8.

Luckily, there are still some games left in the season that will get the city hopping. This season, neither of these clubs has been among the best or even in the same league as our beloved Maple Leafs in terms of winning. Nonetheless, the rivalry speaks for itself and is undoubtedly highlighted on the schedules of both sides' supporters. Several Detroit and Montreal supporters will make the trip south to see these games. The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Nashville Predators 3-2 to close March by securing their spot in the postseason.

Unfortunately, we only have one out of the last six regular season NBA games at home - The last game of the season against the Milwaukee Bucks will take place on April 9.

The Toronto Raptors set history in the city not too long ago in 2019 being the first team in the city to win a championship title since the Blue Jays in 1993. Since then they haven't followed it up with much success in the postseason, but that will not affect the fans' passion for the raptors. Known for the infamous Jurassic Park, as many fanbases have tried to replicate but failed to match the energy. The raptors are fighting for a spot in the play-in tournament at the moment, sitting at 9th in the eastern conference. The ideal situation in the play-in is to be at 7th or 8th so you would only have to win 1 game instead of 2 consecutive games to make the playoffs. There is a lot to fight for in terms of the raptors as they look to overtake the atlanta hawks or Miami Heat in 7th or 8th within their last 6 games. Having faced & beat the Bucks in the playoffs before this has become a rivalry between the two teams. We can't wait to host the superstar Giannis Antetounkmpo & his contemporaries in Jrue Holiday & Khris Middleton.

The Blue Jays will kick off their season away from home, but their home opener against the Tigers on April 11 will definitely bring some excitement into the city.

Taking our first crack at projecting the Blue Jays' 2023 Opening Day roster The Toronto Blue Jays season is set to kick off at the end of March ringing in 90+ Home games to attend in Toronto. Very exciting stuff, I cannot wait to catch a Blue jays game high out of my mind with the homies. In April we have some exciting series against some of the best in the MLB. Vlad Guerrero & the gang look to bring some silverware back to the city, as the blue jays have rebuilt their roster ready to compete with the best in the MLB. After hosting the Detroit Tigers for a series we will be set to host the Chicago White Sox & Seattle Mariners throughout the month being two tough matchups for the Jays but they will definitely look to come out with a winning record. There are a couple of essentials I look to bring with me to a Blue jays game, one being a vape I can sneak in & the other being a pre-roll to smoke before & after the game as 9 innings take a lot of time to play. The pre-roll I will bring along with me is the Mango Haze by Color Cannabis, being a Sativa strain & having a great split in THC & CBD being the ideal pre-roll for an outing such as a Blue Jays Game. A vape I have been liking recently is the Dab Bods Pineapple Punch Cartridge as its great flavour mixed with an exciting high matching perfectly for the event in hand. Heres to hoping we see the dome open sometime at the end of the month.

Enjoy the weather on April 15th and 29th at BMO Field to watch Toronto FC

Falling short last season, finishing at 13th in the east and not making it to the playoff's. This year, we have forwards to keep our eyes on as Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi both have championship potential. The team is facing a potential lack of depth in their players beyond their attacking, but did pick up Sean Johnson A consensus top-five goalkeeper in MLS and MLS Cup MVP (so there is some hope). I'm really hoping to see the boys turn the narrative this year, and help Toronto become home to the MLS cup once again. They'll be playing against Atlanta on the 15th and NYC FC on the 29th, both of which I'll be heading out to - the vibes at BMO on a nice day are like no other in city.
