In the Doggy Dogg world, Uncle Snoop has struck up a deal with Chatham-based marijuana company, Atlas Global Brands. The deal with Snoop Double-g is an “exclusive international licensing agreement.”
If you’re not aware of Atlas Global, they’re a global cannabis company that mainly operates in both Canada and Israel. Their specialty is everything from marketing, distribution, and pharmacy. What does this mean exactly, tho?
It means that this gives the company exclusive bids to bud that boast Snoop Dogg’’s “name, likeness, logos, trademarks or other approved intellectual property to produce, package, manufacture, distribute, sell, advertise, promote and market cannabis flowers, pre-rolls, concentrates, oils and edibles, and personal vaporizers for medical purposes.” in Canada, Germany, Israel and Australia. The company did not divulge too much about the cheddar - but we do know that the licensing deal is for four years.Strains will be “personally approved” by The Doggfather
“Consumers love Snoop, and our collective goal is to deliver premium products in all cannabis categories that will consistently exceed customer expectations,” Atlas Global CEO Bernie Yeung shared. “I chose Atlas to represent and launch my new brands for their innovation and global reach,” said Snoop Dogg in the news release. “I am excited to work with their team to select my favourite strains for my brands and fans. You know they will be amazing because they will be personally approved by me.”
